Unheard is a music series that explores listening, curiosity, and spontaneity through collaborative improvisation. An artist-in-residence leads three in-the-round performances throughout the year featuring rotating groups of multi-instrumentalists.
For our third and final installment with Spencer Zahn, he invites Savannah Harris on drums, Alfredo Colón on saxophone and electronic wind instruments, and Kirk Schoenherr on guitar.
The quartet will dive into 70s spiritual jazz, 80s fusion, and 90s electronic ambient throughout two sets of music, potentially surfacing somewhere between Alice Coltrane and Brian Eno.
Due to limited capacity, $25 advance tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis on Dice.
Unheard will be held in a private loft in Greenpoint featuring a vintage 4-point Klipsch sound system and comfortable seating arrangements.
